Azalea Consultancy WLL is a specialized advisory company that was set up in November 2012 as a joint venture between one of the subsidiaries of AK Bakri AlBakri & Sons Holding Company, Dr. Raed M. Sarhan and Mr. Nader M. Sarhan. Azalea’s main objective is to bring together partners that are looking for sourcing of unique transactions in order to eventually invest in. We manage the process of building up a full advisory team with the collaboration of various legal firms, financial institutions and marketing consultants. This is in order to provide the best possible due diligence studies, information memoranda and private placement memoranda.

Although our focus is diversified in terms of region and sectors, we tend to focus those sectors that provide an immediate yield to our clients in defensive sectors such as real estate, hospitality sector, healthcare, agriculture and oil & gas sector.

Azalea’s joint Founder, Al Bakri are market leaders in various sectors including:
 • Marine and tanker sector.
 • Energy sector.
 • Hospitality sector.
 • Water desalination.
 • Real estate.

On the other hand, Dr. Raed Sarhan and Mr. Nader Sarhan are well known bankers with extensive banking knowledge that extends to:

 • Corporate Finance & Trade Finance.
 • Private Equity deals.
 • General banking activities.

This combination of partners provides Azalea with a strong foundation and relevant track record in finance, asset-based investments, energy and defensive sectors such as hospitality, real estate and healthcare. Azalea has a vast link to various legal, marketing & financial consultants, project developers, technology manufacturers, as well as audit firms, Sharia scholars and will leverage its network of business relationships and global investor base.

Within the first 6 months, Azalea has already won various advisory mandates within and outside the AlBakri Group.
